After attending St. James the Less Grade School, Caleb attended Aquinas Middle School (La Crosse) and is currently studying at the Holy Cross Seminary House of Formation and Aquinas High School.  He will graduate in 2010 from Aquinas.

Caleb's main ecclesiastical interest is Sacred Scripture and he also enjoys skiing, swimming, and fishing.  His favorite books are The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, Eragon by Christopher Paolini, Eldest, also by Paolini, and The Giver by Lois Lowry.  Caleb's favorite music includes "just about anything from Weird Al."

Caleb's favorite foods include chicken, pizza, roast beef, shrimp, and venison.  Caleb enjoys playing video games and reading action/adventure and fantasy books.  Two of his favorite saints are St. Augustine and St. John the Apostle.

When asked why he entered the seminary program, he states that he entered "to discern my calling in life."  He believes that people should pray for vocations because "We need priests to forgive our sins, baptize us, and give the Eucharist to us; without vocations we will not have these."
