Deacon David Rybicki was born on August 17, 1947 in Detroit, MI to the late George and Harriet Rybicki. He was baptized at Saint Michael's Church in Marquette, MI and calls his home St. John the Baptist in Marshfield, WI.

After attending Elmwood Elementary in St. Clair Shores, MI, Deacon David attended South Lake Junior and Senior High also in St. Clair Shores where he graduated in 1966. Deacon David attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI receiving a Bachelor of Arts of Spanish and History. Deacon David then taught Spanish for thirty-four years at Columbus High School in Marshfield, WI.

Deacon David is currently a fourth year theologian at Blessed John XXIII National Seminary and will graduate in 2009 with a Master of Divinity degree.  Deacon David was ordained a deacon on May 23, 2008 by the Most Reverend Jerome E. Listecki, Bishop of La Crosse, at St. John the Baptist Church in  Marshfield, Wisconsin.

During the summer, Deacon David spent time at SS. Peter and Paul parish in Independence, WI and has attended the Steubenville South Conference, Adventure Camp, and a mission trip to Louisiana.

Deacon David's ecclesiastical interests include scripture and Church history whereas his secular interests include reading, walking, and spending time with his friends.
