Seminarian Biography: Jeff Hennes

Jeff Hennes was born on May 29, 1985 to William and Donna Hennes. He was baptized at St. Mary, Help of Christians parish in Colby, Wisconsin and continues to call St. Mary's his home parish.

After attending St. Mary's School in Colby, Jeff went to Colby High School and graduated in 2004. Jeff graduated from St. John Vianney College Seminary (University of Saint Thomas) in 2008 with a degree in philosophy and a minor in Catholic Studies and is currently a first year theologian at Mundelein Seminary.

During the summer of 2006, Jeff helped lead a group from St. Mary's in Colby to the Steubenville North Youth Conference.

Jeff's ecclesiastical interests include the rosary, scripture, and ethics. His secular interests include fishing (especially ice fishing), hunting (deer and small game) as well as cooking, reading, and football.

Jeff's favorite authors include John Paul II, Christopher West, and C.S. Lewis. He enjoys music from all genres and periods.
